Bought a Flight Yesterday

It doesn’t sound like much but buying a flight is a big deal. It means more than simply traveling to a new place. More than a vacation. Buying a flight means something more than the simple act of making a purchase.

So for years now I’ve wanted to travel. Let me rephrase that, I’ve wanted to travel for the entirety of my life. Ever since I was a child and was able to watch movies or when I would read the rare book my a.d.h.d filled brain would allow me to sit through. All the stories were about grand adventures; people going from humble beginnings and moving through a magical world, or a world fraught with danger or evils. And at the heart of all the stories that I loved so much, was the idea of seeing amazing things that the MC didn’t even know existed.

And for years I’ve wanted that same life. I wanted to travel and adventure and explore, but I always had a reason or an excuse is more like it. Always a reason not to book the flight, there was always work to do instead of going on the adventure. And this trip is the first of many that will be in my future.

I will go on more trips. I will go on more adventures. I will not work for the pure idea of making more money so I can buy nicer and nicer things. I will work to aquire freedom units, and with these units I will purchase a life Ive longed for since I was a child.

I bought a flight and it’s the start of a grand adventure. Now to pack my bags and step out into the larger world.
